Other than the tango walk, the pivot turn or "Ocho" is a fundamental element of Argentine Tango.  This workshop will be designed to improve precision and execution in the more advanced dancers as well as offering guidance for newer dancers.

Focus will be on the preparation to execute elegant pivot turns, finding one's axis while controlling balance, collection and speed, and keeping with the frame.  Then using ochos, pivots and weight changes we will address Giros (turns),  A Giro or turn involves a series of pivoting steps that  accomplish a circular or curved sequence.
