Tango Workshop with Jorge Torres

The ability to hear the rhythm, the melody, and the individual instruments as they play, is the first step of musical interpretation.

Orchestras may play the same tunes but through the various tango revivals and European influences the sounds of tango have evolved and changed.

Bandoneon, violin, piano, bass, guitar, harmonica and whistle carry the familiar sounds of tango.

Every time we hear the music play we have the opportunity to dance to a different component of the song - just listen for the invitation.....
